Greene and Brigade Energy each find ways to expand shale services

Greene Energy Group LLC and Brigade Energy Services LLC each announced plans this week that should help the shale energy service providers expand.

Brigade Energy, which serves North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Oklahoma and Texas, said it will acquire the well servicing division of GlobalLTR Energy Inc.

For GlobalLTR, the sale will allow the company to better serve its midstream water logistics and power generation sectors mainly operating in the Permian Basin. For Brigade, a growing energy solutions company with a short history, the undisclosed transaction price was worth it for a team looking to expand its new well completions, workover and remediation work, plugging and abandoning services and well repairs or maintenance offerings.

Greene Energy Group LLC, an established energy service firm with a main focus on the Eagle Ford and Permian, got a boost this week from a $25 million line of credit from California-based Great American Capital Partners LLC.

“The loan from GACP has allowed Greene’s to completely refinance its existing debt, as well as provide Greene’s liquidity for expanded operations in the Permian, Eagle Ford, Northeast and Gulf of Mexico,” said Frank Matthews, president and COO of Greene’s.
